Executive Chairman responsible for the development of the Group and its strategy formulation and execution.
Simon has worked in the UK recruitment industry for 26 years, 18 of which have been in senior executive roles. In 1988 he was appointed as chief executive of barkers Human Resources (part of BNB Group plc). He left the business in 1994 to lead the £4m buy-out of Park with Michael Warren. Park was then sold to SHL Group plc in 1997 for £14.6m and Simon became an executive director on the main board. He resigned in 1999 and he co-founded Work with Michael Warren and Steve Halford in 2000. He has written the weekly ‘Jobfile’ column on employment issues in The Sunday Times since 1995 (over 400 columns to date), is a regular contributor to magazines and speaker on recruitment and HR issues. simon.howard@workgroup.plc.uk
-Michael Warren
Group Finance Director responsible for financial planning, reporting and controls.
Michael worked at a number of marketing services companies before joining Barkers as Finance Director
in 1987. Leaving in 1994, he teamed up with Simon Howard in the acquisition of Park in 1995.

-Steve Bodger
Non-executive director, chairman of audit committee.
Steve has extensive experience as an executive and non-executive director of both public and private companies. He began his career at Price Waterhouse and is a qualified chartered accountant. He subsequently held various executive positions in both public and private companies (including a number of board positions at Transport Development Group plc between 1991 and 1999). He is a non-executive director Armour Group plc and as a director of Alchemy Venture Partners he is Chairman of a number of Alchemy portfolio companies, currently: Airborne Systems, Jacques Vert plc, Right4Staff, Talgentra and Westcot.
-Keith Cameron
Non-executive director, chairman of remuneration committee.
Keith has extensive experience as an executive and non-executive director of both public and private companies. He has spent the vast majority of his career in human resources at a number of multinational companies including Union Carbide Inc., Rank Xerox Inc., Levi Strauss Inc., Dixons Group plc, Storehouse plc and between 1998 and 2001 was Chief Operating Officer of The Burton Group plc/Arcadia Group plc. In 2004 he was persuaded by Stuart Rose to return from retirement to take up the position of HR Director at Marks & Spencer plc. He is currently also the Independent Director of the Barclays Bank Pension Fund, and a non-executive director of the Britannia Building Society.
